We meet at the Youth House next to the church
Is a health awareness class that focuses on 4 areas; food, fitness, faith and fun. We learn how to make better food choices, and have the realization that we can’t just diet, we have to make a change for the rest of my life. We need to know that God is here to give us the strength to help overcome this addiction. So often we go on a ‘diet’ to lose weight for a wedding or class reunion, but statistics state, it’s a lifetime battle; short goal weight loss normally means you will gain it back…and more.
1 Corinthians 6:12-13

Mission Statement
Our desire at God’s Way/Weigh is
to allow the Lord to help lead us to a healthier lifestyle with the benefit of losing weight. With teachings based on God’s Word and prayer we are laying the groundwork for change. Making healthy lifestyle changes is the only way to accomplish long term goals. Learning what we should be eating and drinking, then adding fitness will truly make a healthier you.
Our goal is to live long and live strong. We are taking steps of change that create a lifetime of good choices.
1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
Class Procedure
We have a separate room for weighing in. Your weight is kept between you and the person weighing you in. Privacy in this area is a must.
There will be different exercises that are shown. They are encouraged not required.
Each meeting we take time to study the Word, gain insight on food choices and offer fitness ideas. Daily food journals are encouraged and handed in each week.
