| Belief Statement We believe in the Bible as the ultimate source for conduct and behavior as a Christian. We also believe that the Bible is true, accurate, and was written by inspiration of God. We believe that the Bible is the final word regarding faith in God and anything contrary to the teaching of the Bible is contrary to our belief. We believe in God as the Creator of all things and people. We believe that there is nothing that was not created by God, nor is maintained by God. We believe that God is made of three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was born of the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ and that His blood was shed for our sins. We believe that the blood provides atonement, sanctification, purification and cleansing from sin. We believe that Jesus died on the cross, rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the Father. We believe that Jesus Christ will return again for those who are saved by His blood. We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit to draw all men to Christ, to empower believers, and to accomplish God’s will on this earth. We believe in the infilling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We believe that miracles, signs, and wonders are trademarks of the workings of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in I Corinthians 12 and are now available to all believers. We believe in the local church as God’s instrument to provide relief to the needy, to promote the Gospel message, and to promote evangelism in foreign countries. We also believe in the local church as God’s instrument to provide sound, Biblical teaching to enable each member of the local church the opportunity to become closer to Christ.
